Glenmaggie Wines have been growing vines and making wines in Gippsland, since 1995.

Glenmaggie Wines are handcrafted from grape varieties that have been specifically chosen to suit our location, in the cooler climate of Gippsland.

In a region fast becoming renowned for the production of fine, cool-climate wines, Our recent show successes have enhanced the regions standing even further.

We make wines only from the fruit grown in our own vineyards. Pilot plantings were established as far back as 1984, but most of the vines were planted in 1995.

Having our own vineyards gives us complete control of the winemaking process from vine to bottle. Great wines are grown in the vineyard first and are only later turned into wine.

Guiding the whole grape-growing cycle from pruning – training – harvest – to winemaking is what it is all about at we are about. Winemaking requires patience, passion, an artistic inclination, and a little bit of science.
