The Hallora Marathon Festival is an annual event.

The Hallora Marathon Festival is held in Warragul, Gippsland and began as a marathon in 2015. and is about community engagement and to raise funds for Peter Mac Cancer Centre. There is a distance for everyone -5, 8, & 16 kilometres and the longer distance of 16 and 42 kilometres.

The event was started by Daniel (the event president) as a perfect opportunity for him to raise money for Peter Mac, as he saw this cause to be so important, as it was very close to his heart.

We want to be able to raise money to allow people like Sarah and Daniel’s Pa the optimal treatment, to go on and live fulfilling lives.

A little more about the Marathon………..

The finish line at Western Park in Warragul is a great place to be for all. The community buzz of all the spectators really assists in getting everyone over the finish line.

We have music, MCs, merchandise, food, drinks, a community BBQ fundraiser run by The Pharaoh’s Angels and so much more to enjoy and refuel after the races are complete.

The Hallora Marathon Festival, is all about community involvement and we are extremely grateful for The Baw Baw Shire Council, as well as our sponsors and all of the local businesses, who support us each year.

24km and 42km start line: Hallora Recreation Reserve – 1530 Main South Road, Hallora, Vic 3818
