Lyrebird Arts Council is a not-for-profit group that has presented live niche music in South Gippsland since 1999.

Lyrebird Arts Council has been working hard behind the scenes, eagerly anticipating being able to present live music again.

With a life-long passion, and a love of live music beating through his veins, in 1999 Ian Bevington decided he needed to bring great live music to South Gippsland where he lived. Like-minded friends and family and complete strangers banded together to form the Lyrebird Arts Council. As an eclectic mix of individuals, we strive to present the best and most diverse live music we can.

We will need to follow the regulations set by the Victorian government, namely; capacity limits initially and only double vaccinated people being able to attend (including performers and staffing). As with all venues, you’ll be asked to either manually or electronically check-in via the QR code and show your proof of vaccination. At present, masks remain mandatory inside and must be worn except when eating or drinking.
